Celebrating 20 Years
About Kajeet: Connectivity for Good
From our roots 20 years ago bridging the digital divide for children in a world that wasn’t yet familiar with IoT, to our current vision and mission of helping people thrive by providing connectivity for good, Kajeet has been at the forefront of connectivity.
Our Story
We're proud to be celebrating our 20th anniversary bridging the digital divide and providing connectivity for good. Here are just a few of our many company highlights:
2003
Kajeet is founded by Daniel Neal and Ben Weintraub. As fathers, Daniel and Ben realized that there was a need for reliable and safe connectivity geared towards children. The company name "Kajeet" bears the initials of their own children.
2006
Launched Mobile Phone Service for Kids. With the right tools and a strong desire to bridge the connectivity gap, Kajeet introduced a mobile service, leveraging nationwide cellular coverage, for kids.
2011
Launched Education Broadband for K-12. As learning needs moved well beyond the classroom, Kajeet was able to use their deep understanding of connectivity and mobility and apply it to help bridge the digital divide in schools across North America.
2015
Launched SmartBus, a School Bus WiFi Solution. Understanding that the average K-12 student spends around 45 minutes each day on a bus, schools and districts leverage Kajeet to help connect students during those critical times of the day.
2018
Launched an Off-Campus Connectivity Suite. With vast amounts of expertise used to manage devices, data plans, and content, Kajeet extended its capabilities beyond the classroom. Leveraging Sentinel, an award-winning platform, connectivity and data management would be forever changed.
2019
Launched Enterprise Business. As Internet of Things rapidly expands, Kajeet has all of the tools that enterprises need to bring connectivity to their devices. Focused on healthcare, EV charging, and business failover solutions, Kajeet is trusted by leading brands all over the world for their managed IoT connectivity needs.
2021
Became an MNO+. Enabling organizations with the tools needed to deliver wireless products and services has become a critical capability of Kajeet. Trusted by major cable operators and other network operators, Kajeet is able to deliver network and platform services to very sophisticated and trusted brands.
2022
Launched Private Networks & Sentinel Insights. As network demands evolve, Kajeet has built extensive capabilities to offer hybrid connectivity services. Whether private or public cellular networks, CBRS or FirstNet, WiFi or Cellular, Kajeet has the right product set to get your solution in motion. Additionally, Sentinel Insights provides deep data intelligence to help solution providers understand the behavioral patterns of their connected deployments, bringing efficiency and cost-savings to organizations large and small.

We are the only managed connectivity provider to work with all of the Big Four carriers in the U.S., along with most other cellular carriers as well. But our relationships extend much further, to OEM manufacturers like Samsung, Cradlepoint, and Dell to world-class channel partners like CDW and many others.
What People are Saying About Kajeet

Evan Grayer, Co-Founder | Sano Health
I can activate or cancel devices at the drop of a hat… there’s no penalty there for me. I don’t have to worry about spending $200 to cancel a line, which means substantial savings for our business and helps us keep our costs competitive.
Derrick Hilmoe, Business Development Manager | zTrip
I like that the Sentinel portal aggregates my data, allowing me to see how much we have been using across all our devices. When we were direct with the carrier, I would have to look up each individual line to get any insights on data usage.
